Visit of the Legend
Devbagh Beach is a beautiful beach of South Kanara, which is full of natural beauty. It is famous beach where the renowed poet and the legendary artist Gurudev Ravindranath Tagore had visited and lost in the scenic beauty of the nature way back in 1916.
Mostly known as the land of landscapes, Devbagh is located on the Western Ghats along the side of deep Arabian Sea near Karwar. The Devbagh Beach Resort is situated on the Devbagh Beach. It is surrounded by spotless sand all over with a fence formed with the plants and trees. Here you will find more of casuarinas plants along the sea shore. In the middle of the plantation there are wooden houses and the gazebo the Gol Ghar.

It helps to find more about the birds of countless species.One can enjoy watching white-headed eagle, chirpy cuckoo, colorful darter, sunbird, tiny lemon-green barbet and flycatchers and many more. The resort is having mangrove on all its sides. For the bird watchers it is the best spot to gather. Even in the dark, one can spot the wolves running on the seashore to catch the crabs. If you are lucky enough, you might see a dolphin jumping and splashing the water across the sea.

The Resort has about 20 accommodations which includes log huts, fisherman huts, 4 cottages, 2 houseboats with 2 bedrooms, each and a houseboat with conference room.
Delicious Sea Food
The delicious and scrumptious non-vegetarian Indian dishes are available at Gol Ghar. The fishing season brings variety of sea-food which is specially prepared for the occasion which is presented on the both sides of gazebo. It is a life time experience to have freshly prepared food at the Bonfire or at the Barbeque on the beach.
